2012 Field Schedule
We are planning some exciting events for you in 2012! Our Spring Hunt, April 27-28-29, will offer all three levels, Senior, Master and Junior and will again be hosted by Kevin McLaren at Walnut Hill Farm in Weyers Cave, VA.
We are delighted to announce that our judges for Junior and Senior at the Spring Hunt test will be Kathy Heintel of Treasure Lake Chesapeakes and Anna Marie Senita of Concord Creek Chesapeakes. Both Kathy and Anna Marie are breeders/owners/trainers/handlers of multi-titled dogs, including Champion Master Hunters.
The Senior test will start at noon on Friday and continue until completed. The Master Test will be judged once again by our favorite LRCP judges Dan and Peggy Ramsey. Master will start at 8:00 am on Saturday and 7:30 am on Sunday. The Junior stake will start at the conclusion of Senior, but not before 10:00 am on Saturday. This will allow Junior handlers a little extra time to get to the test.
All information is finalized on the Entry Express website and we are now accepting entries. Please note the lowered entry fee for Junior dogs.
Remember that all Labrador Retrievers completing a Junior Leg may apply for an LRC Working Certificate ribbon and certificate, and all Labrador retrievers completing a Senior Leg may apply for a Working Certificate Excellent ribbon and certificate .
As always, we are grateful to the members of the Back Bay Knotts Island Retriever Club for help in organizing and providing core workers for this event. All LRCP members are WELCOME to volunteer to help in any capacity...Marshall, Hospitality, Bird thrower, Equipment, Grounds, etc.
We will have our spectacular LRCP Qualifying Ribbons and Bird Bands to all Qualifiers, as well as special awards for all Conformation Champions of Record (any breed) and New Title completions.

Changes to Retriever Hunting Test Regulations Effective January 1, 2012
