Local Gal Makes Good!

BISS CH Sunspot Lace Em UP JH WC Wins The 75th Jubilee National Specialty!

Congratulations to our very own Bonnie and Robert Anthony whose four year old bitch "Lacey" won the 75th Jubilee National Specialty under breeder-judge-LRCP Founding Member Connie Barton last week in Gray Summit, Missouri! The NUMBER ONE Labrador in America since January 2006, "Lacey" pictured at right at Kanadasaga two weeks ago (click picture for larger image) was bred by Brandy Leggett and is exclusively handled by Rusty and Jen Howard!

Winner of five specialities in 2006 alone, "Lacey" won BOS at Potomac 2006 under breeder-judge-LRCP Founding Member Betty Graham, a JAM under Sally Bell at Potomac 2005, multiple additional JAMS in 2005 and 2006 and multiple group placements. If that doesn't get your attention, "Lacey" has had a spectcular fall season so far winning NINE BOB's in a row over the last few weeks and seven group placements!

You will not be surprised to learn that "Lacey" finished her AKC championship in 5 weeks at the tender age of 13 months. Oh! She also took Best in Sweeps at Bare Bones in 2004! Rumor has it "Lacey" is "a wonderful show dog, super retriever and adored pet!" Go figure!

The LRCP family could not be more pleased and proud for one of our own! Pictures from the National should be available here shortly.
